Preparations are underway for this year's Stars and Stripes in Sugar Grove Parade slated for Saturday, July 2. Those wishing to participate in the parade should contact Jennifer Watson at 746-8544 or email to rwatson5@columbus.rr.com to reserve your spot in the parade's lineup. All community clubs, groups, sports teams, and churches are invited to have a unit. Individuals may also wish to show their cars, tractors, horses, bicycles, clown talents, etc.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, from the Columbia Gas yard on Maple Street.
Participants should plan to arrive between 9 and 9:30 a.m.
